Dog Bite Resulted Into Finger Amputated In Hull

A man who was bitten by a dog in Hull had his finger amputated as a result of the dog bite.

The Staffordshire bull terrier injured the 59-year-old man as he walked his Labrador on the city’s Oak Road playing fields.

“The terrier attacked the man between 1630 and 1700 BST on 9 October when the man tried to separate the animals”, said Humberside Police.

He went to Hull Royal Infirmary, where the middle finger on his left hand was amputated. Police are trying to trace the terrier’s owner who is in his 20s and about 5ft 11in. He was wearing a hat and tracksuit bottoms and.

The Staffordshire bull terrier is described as brown or tawny-coloured.
