Reward Offered For Information Leading To Arrest

The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for fatally burning a dog.

Investigators said a rat terrier/fox terrier mix named Rocky, ran away from his Lohrville home on Sept. 28. The dog was found on the other side of the Calhoun County town. They said the dog had extensive burns on his body and was rushed to a veterinarian, but he died a few hours later.

The Humane Society is offering a $2,500 reward and the Animal Rescue League of Iowa is throwing in an addition $500.
