A dog was hit and killed during evening walk by a man driving an all-terrain vehicle in a park.

It was reported that the ATV hit the dog when a woman was walking her two dogs along the path.

Police said the man with a companion was riding ATVs on a bike path in Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers on Saturday around 6:30 p.m. despite signs around forbid such machine in the park.

As a result of the hit, the man from the ATV broke his collarbone.
